CORPORATE CHEF RAJIV MALHOTRA LEFT REFT TODAY OVERWHELMED WITH HIS HOSPITALITY IN HABITAT HUB OF INDIA HABITAT CENTRE-DELHI: AN EXCLUSIVE REPORT BY KHATIBAH REHMAT.

Habitat Hub is a non-member international cafe in India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Believe me they serve best of almost all countries authentic cuisines at highly affordable prices with quite good portion. Corporate Chef Rajiv Malhotra was a great host who was continuously following me up to visit the place when I was in Chandigarh (feels so good when such a great chef honours you). He could be the best host I could have ever met. Not just this, he has an amazing team of great chefs like: Chef Ashok and Chef Jaskaran who personally cooked for us. Other staff members were equally hospitable and very quick in serving multiple dishes on the table.

Chef Rajiv introduced me to one of the most powerful lady, Ms. Mukta Kapoor who is their Marcom team head. The more power I could sense from her presence, the more generosity I felt with her words. It was overwhelming when she said that she has surely met me earlier and while exchanging our contact details I came to know that her number was already saved in my phone list, which was another form of connection amongst us (we both laughed). Let’s come to food now! The regular beverages like mango shake, chocolate milk shake, cold coffee, virgin mojito, soft drinks were as they used to be everywhere but for food, one word came out and it was: Delicious! Each and every cuisine first of all smelled good even from a distance, then that amazing and outstanding presentation along with it’s detailing which seemed to be kept in consideration. Then tasting part came, which driven me in another world. That Lebanese, those American, Italian and many more cuisines which continuously came on my table were much-much more than enough for us.

Chef Rajiv Malhotra’s team was outstanding where Chef Ashok and Chef Jaskaran kept on coming and asking about the food. They served a different menu for my daughters which was mentioned for kids in their menu as well (my daughters were really happy and enjoyed to the fullest)A lunch or dinner is incomplete without desserts, we were served mango pastry with mango topping (which was immediately eaten by both of my daughters) and apple pie slice was served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, it equally tasted amazing. When we were heading back home then Chef Rajiv Malhotra gifted few handmade almond chocolates of Habitaria to my daughters, which we tasted later when we reached back home. Like other things this chocolate was also freshly made and tasted really good. India Habitat Centre’s Habitat Hub is a must visit place in New Delhi.
