EKKO MOH KOMBUCHA A FERMENTED NON-ALCOHOLIC DRINK, LIKE IN KOREA AND JAPAN IS NOW PRODUCED BY MR. ABHISHEK DHALIWAL’S THE LIFE MATTERS: A REPORT BY: KHATIBAH REHMAT.

No one knows where life lands you up one day and slowly and gradually it gives you immense, considering the hard work you’ve been through until date. The same thing happened with a young boy of Chandigarh who belonged to an education loving family and always thought of becoming an engineer by profession. But, no one knows what destiny has scripted for him? I’m talking about a successful businessman of today Mr. Abhishek Dhaliwal who was born and brought up in City Beautiful Chandigarh who began his career as an IT professional engineer and as a core team lead working with leading startups in the country, he always wanted to come up with his own passion of entrepreneurship. His journey is marked by an unwavering commitment to innovation, entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to make a positive impact upon the society.

In the year 2019 Mr. Dhaliwal gave light to his dream which came into being by establishing a brand named: THE LIFE MATTERS. As the name says, his startup was also for the betterment of people’s good health and providing them a nice alternative to soda drinks which is full of sugar contents into it, that too with innovation and taste. As his sister is a PhD in food and nutrition so, one day they both were making few recipes with healthy ingredients and processes, to avoid soda drinks. As a result to so many days of hardships, success and failure, they came across a fermented drink which is very commonly used in Japanese and Korean culture.

Just after few more days of putting in some research and experiments they came across a drink which is fermented with tea and contains micro-nutrition and is a source of naturally occurring vitamins, probiotics but is also a rich source of polyphenols that helps in removing all toxins from the body, they named it Ekko Moh Kombucha. After trying by themselves, they began to distribute it amongst their relatives, friends and to the nearby farmers market. Which resulted in great love and it enhanced their confidence. Now people of Chandigarh and Tri-City are loving it.

The side business which Mr. Abhishek Dhaliwal started, has now become a main stream work which is not just giving good returns but also immense love from those who drink it. Today their b2b clients earn more than ₹2-3 lakhs a month on their Kombucha drink on tap model, interested people can avail their franchisee as well. Well, our products are delivered Pan India and is available in special kegs for cafes and restaurants. Mr. Abhishek added that the rich in nutrition recipe which he has created will reach to international heights of $1.2 billion market in the USA.
