TRADE PROMOTION COUNCIL OF INDIA (TPCI) ORGANISES INDUS FOOD 2026 IN THE COUNTRY CAPITAL FROM 8-10 JANUARY: A PRE-EVENT REPORT BY KHATIBAH REHMAT (SENIOR JOURNALIST).
New Delhi, 7th January, 2026: Indusfood 2026 is set to highlight India’s expanding influence in global food trade as Asia’s premier food and beverage sourcing platform. The 9th. edition will focus on bilateral engagements, cultural exchanges, trade collaborations and high-level delegations. Scheduled from January 8 to 10, 2026 at India Expo Centre and Mart Greater Noida the event will reinforce India’s role as a trusted global food partner.
Building on the momentum of previous editions Indusfood 2026 will bring together leading Indian producers international buyers policymakers and industry leaders. The flagship trade show aims to strengthen India’s food supply chain credibility by showcasing innovation sustainability and value-added processing. The event will be inaugurated by Shri Chirag Paswan Hon’ble Minister of Food Processing Industries Government of India reflecting strong policy support for exports and food processing growth. TPCI Chairman Mr. Mohit Singla stated that Indusfood 2026 will unite innovation sustainability and diverse Indian products under one platform creating new trade opportunities and reinforcing India’s journey towards global food trade leadership.
Over the years Indusfood has established itself as India’s premier marketplace for high-quality food agricultural commodities and value-added processed products. The 2026 edition is set to strengthen this position by delivering deeper global market access enhanced business networking and increased visibility for India’s rapidly growing food processing ecosystem and export potential.

A major international highlight will be Saudi Arabia’s 75-year milestone celebration led by exhibitor Alsalan. This cultural and commercial showcase reflects Saudi Arabia’s rich food trade legacy and its deepening strategic partnership with India.

In a significant bilateral development, the Abu Dhabi Food Hub will officially launch the India–UAE Food Corridor at Indusfood 2026. The initiative aims to strengthen food security, streamline supply chains and accelerate trade flows between the two economies. The announcement is expected to draw strong participation from government leaders, investors and global retailers, reinforcing cross-border collaboration in food and agri trade.
Indusfood 2026 will also feature global culinary and experiential highlights, including the inaugural World Culinary Heritage Conference. High-Level Delegations at Indusfood 2026

● Two leading Trade Association Chairmen from Turkey exploring opportunities
ahead of Turkey’s proposed Focus Country Pavilion in 2027.
● The Worldchefs President, Chef Andy Cuthbert and Asia Continental Director, Chef Willment Leong, marking a landmark moment for India’s positioning in global culinary leadership.
● Fiji’s Ministers, senior government officials and retail buyers from six major supermarket chains, attending under MEA sponsorship to strengthen Indo-Pacific trade ties Expanded Collaboration with Industry Associations.
