As I have told you earlier in this women's day series' part one and two that how a single mother Asra Nawaz is sluggishly bringing revolution in this manly world and is trying day and night to give a great platform to all the ladies of the world to join her. Let us now read how Tarannum Narvi became the SECOND winner of this event, what did she cook, how did she beat several other contestants and won the competition of Fearless and Flawless Women's Day Cooking Competition-2021?
Tarannum Narvi, is a Delhi based homemaker and a mother of a four years old son, who lives with her husband is actually born in Allahabad but moved to Delhi with her parents when she herself was a kid. Tarannum is a graduate and D.El.Ed. from Jamia Millia Islamia University-Delhi. Professionally, she is a teacher and presently runs a coaching center. She has some simple hobbies which are cooking, listening to music and watching interesting shows. Tarannum's strength is her family and their good health. She thanks to Fearless and Flawless group from the core of her heart who spotted her from the crowd and rewarded in Women's Day Cooking Competition-2021. She added that, through this online event women of all sphere can enhance their capabilities and passion besides regular household affairs.
Tarannum always had a passion for cooking but amid her education it was arduous to cook and try new and different cuisines. Later, after marriage it gave spark to her hidden skills for cooking and according to her the best thing is when her husband is a gourmand, a reviewer and a critic too, who always inspires her to make different delicacies. Now her passion has gone to a level where she tries those dishes at home which she eats when dines out with family and tickles to her taste buds and tries to imitate in taste as well as in presentation. According to Tarannum, cooking is that passion where one receives both appreciation and depreciation, so one must enjoy and keep cooking with utmost love.
RECIPE: KHEERLICIOUS (Kheer)
Full cream milk.......................1Kg
Soaked Rice............................1 cup
Grind Coarsely........................After 1hr
Cardamom powder................¼ tea spoon
Milkmade................................1 tin of 300gm
First, bring milk to boil.
Add cardamom powder after 10mins.
Add ground rice in boiling milk and keep stirring to avoid lumps.
Mix full tin of Milkmade and boil it for another 15 minutes.
Add dry fruits of your choice and mix well.
Now pour KHEER in small earthen bowls.
Garnish with almonds and pistachio.
Refrigerate it for two hours and serve it cool.
Enjoy the Earthen taste of KHEERLICIOUS.
