Then Ms. CHU introduced me to the gentleman F and B Manager Mr. Dhirendra Kumar who was another nobel soul from the hotel Pullman. As soon as I reached to the hotel’s lobby, I saw. After that we moved back to Honk where, I met their Executive Sous Chef Tarun Arora who was so gentle and kind with immense knowledge of almost all food and hospitality industry. I didn’t realise when time flew away talking to him and simultaneously, both the chefs Faridul and Irwan presented the delicious Malaysian Cuisines to me. The dishes were looking very colourful and tasted almost like our Indian subcontinents.

Chef Tarun served me the very colourful Rainbow Rice with Chicken Rendang. I also ate Squid Kapitan Curry which was bright yellow in colour and Lamb Curry. The curries were more or less like it’s cooked here in India but still a different flavour. Soon, Honk-Pullman may update their menu and add-on a few Malaysian cuisines into it. Well, let’s speak a bit about the executive sous chef, Chef Tarun Arora who is a graduate from IHM-Gurdaspur. He has an amazing ability to transform a traditional dish with modern kick on the palate.
