Guests are all set for the cake mixing ceremony.

Greater Noida, October 31, 2025: The festive season unfolded beautifully at Crowne Plaza Greater Noida where the team of REFT Today had the privilege of being invited to the much-awaited Cake Mixing Ceremony 2025. The invitation was extended by Ms. Shawali Gupta along with General Manager Mr. Sharad Upadhyaya marking the beginning of celebrations that lead into Christmas. Arriving an hour early for a scheduled exclusive interaction with Mr. Upadhyaya, we were welcomed with immense warmth and personal hospitality. Ms. Gupta ensured that we felt at home as she offered us tea, coffee, soft beverages and freshly prepared snacks. My daughters were especially delighted with the chocolate donuts served at the café which they adored so much that they insisted on a second helping. I also enjoyed their paneer puff along with ginger ale which added its own comforting charm to the afternoon. Although Mr. Upadhyay was caught up with ongoing preparations he still made time in between the ceremony to honour his commitment and speak with us ensuring the REFT Today team did not leave without the interview we had come for.

Students of Father Agnel School, Greater Noida sang the melodious Christmas Carol.

The event took place at the scenic Spa Lounge of Crowne Plaza Greater Noida where the ambiance felt warm festive and full of seasonal joy. The atmosphere was further elevated by cheerful Christmas carols performed by school students filling the air with nostalgic melodies of the upcoming holiday season. The culinary team played a significant role in the ceremony under the leadership of newly joined Executive Chef Mr. Arun Vats who recently transitioned from a Goa property. The presence of the Chef de Cuisine and the entire kitchen brigade reflected unity passion and love for culinary traditions. Their enthusiasm for the cake mixing ritual beautifully highlighted how hospitality is not just service but an emotion. The gathering also saw the presence of influencers, bloggers and media acquaintances who came together to celebrate this cherished annual tradition which symbolises togetherness, abundance and warmth.

A heartfelt highlight of the event was the way Ms. Tanya Sinha, the recently joined Marcom professional, engaged with my daughters. Her warmth, sincerity and effortless affection made us feel truly valued. She spent time drawing and interacting with them reminding us that hospitality is not only about food and décor but also about the emotional connection, a property builds with its guests. It was this personal touch that made the experience memorable beyond the formal boundaries of an event. As the ceremony concluded Ms. Shawali Gupta gifted us a thoughtful token of love which brought immense joy to my children and closed the event on a beautifully sentimental note. The Cake Mixing Ceremony 2025 at Crowne Plaza Greater Noida was not just a gathering to mark the holiday season but a celebration of family, community, warmth and heartfelt hospitality. It left us with memories that will remain cherished throughout this festive season and beyond.
