COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT GURUGRAM DOWNTOWN REDEFINES FATHER’S DAY WITH LITTLE CHEFS CULINARY CARNIVAL AND AN EXTRAORDINARY FAMILY BRUNCH.
Friday, 03.07.2026: The Father’s Day celebration at Courtyard by Marriott, Gurugram Downtown was conceptualised as much more than a festive brunch. Designed around the theme of creating meaningful family experiences, the hotel introduced the Little Chefs Culinary Carnival where children between the ages of five and twelve stepped into a professional kitchen to discover the joy of baking under the guidance of the hotel’s accomplished culinary team. From whisking eggs and mixing ingredients to decorating pastries and learning the fundamentals of baking, every activity encouraged creativity, confidence and teamwork.

Each young participant proudly wore a chef’s hat while following professional kitchen practices under the careful supervision of Executive Chef Ratan Kumar, Chef de Cuisine Arijit Shrivastava and the talented pastry chefs. At the conclusion of the workshop, Chef Arijit Shrivastava distributed participation certificates to every little chef, making the occasion even more memorable. The smiles on the children’s faces reflected the success of an initiative that allowed them to experience the discipline and excitement of a real hotel kitchen. Every child also received a specially curated Little Chef kit along with the pastries they had personally baked, creating memories that extended well beyond Father’s Day.

Children happily participated in the father’s day baking contest.
While the young chefs immersed themselves in their culinary adventure, families enjoyed an elaborate Father’s Day brunch featuring an extensive buffet with global favourites, live cooking stations, gourmet delicacies and indulgent desserts prepared by the hotel’s culinary experts. The celebration continued with engaging family activities including a delightful visit to the terrace pool organised by Marketing Manager Surbhi Sachdeva, where the children celebrated with boundless enthusiasm before reuniting with their families. The brunch itself was elevated by Chef de Cuisine Arijit Shrivastava’s specially curated preview of his upcoming Lucknowi menu, thoughtfully presented as a gesture of hospitality after learning about my roots in Allahabad now Prayagraj.

Finally the proud participants are the certified Junior Chefs now.
The authentic vegetarian specialties, signature non-vegetarian delicacies, traditional breads and exquisite desserts showcased the richness of Awadhi cuisine while reflecting the personalised warmth for which Courtyard by Marriott Gurugram Downtown is increasingly recognised. Every interaction with the courteous hotel staff demonstrated genuine hospitality, flawless coordination and heartfelt service, making this Father’s Day celebration one of Gurugram’s most thoughtful hospitality experiences where culinary excellence, family bonding and memorable moments came together under one roof.

Beyond the culinary workshop and festive brunch, Courtyard by Marriott Gurugram Downtown positioned the Father’s Day celebration as an experience that celebrated quality family time over routine dining. With participation in the Little Chefs Culinary Carnival limited to ensure personalised guidance, the hotel encouraged families to reserve their seats well in advance, reflecting the growing demand for experiential hospitality in Gurugram. The thoughtfully curated event successfully combined learning, entertainment and gastronomy under one roof, allowing children to develop practical culinary skills while parents created lasting memories with their families.
