INDUSFOOD 2026 CONCLUDES SUCCESSFULLY AFTER THREE RECORD-BREAKING DAYS OF GLOBAL INDUSTRY ENGAGEMENT- A windup report by Khatibah Rehmat-Senior Journalist.

Greater Noida, January, 2026: IndusFood 2026 concluded successfully after three well-coordinated days, reaffirming its position as one of India’s most significant global food and agribusiness platforms. The event progressed smoothly, drawing participation from government officials, trade delegations and industry stakeholders from across the world. With seamless organisation and high visitor engagement, the exhibition reflected India’s growing confidence in hosting large-scale international trade events. Delegates witnessed structured business interactions, policy discussions and a vibrant showcase of innovation, underscoring the exhibition’s relevance in the global food trade ecosystem.

The Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI) played a pivotal role in ensuring the event’s success through meticulous planning and professional execution. From exhibitor coordination to international delegate facilitation, the organisers maintained global exhibition standards throughout. The strong presence of Indian government representatives further highlighted policy support for the food and processing sectors. Discussions around reduced taxation, ease of doing business and export-led growth reflected the Government of India’s commitment to creating a favourable environment for domestic and international investors.

Chefs and other people from the hospitality industry were gathered from around the nation and the world to attend IndusFood 2026.

IndusFood 2026 also proved to be a powerful commercial platform, with sponsors and exhibitors from India and overseas presenting a wide array of products, technologies and services. Established brands and emerging enterprises alike leveraged the platform to engage buyers and expand their market reach. The diversity of showcased offerings—from processed foods to agri-technology solutions—demonstrated the depth of India’s food industry. Strong buyer interest and sustained footfall confirmed the exhibition’s effectiveness in generating tangible business opportunities.

The hospitality and culinary fraternity marked a notable presence at IndusFood 2026, reflecting the sector’s growing integration with food trade and production. Among the distinguished attendees was Mr. Saud Ahmed, the fourth-generation custodian of Mumbai’s iconic Baghdadi restaurant, representing HRAWI as its youngest co-opted Executive Committee member. Several senior chefs and industry veterans were also in attendance, including Chef Shaikh Abdul Qadir, contributing to discussions on culinary heritage, professional growth and evolving industry standards.

Sharing his perspective, Mr. Saud Ahmed described IndusFood 2026 as a platform that effectively showcased India’s scale, innovation and global ambition in food and hospitality. The exhibition, he noted, reinforced India’s rising leadership in the global food trade while opening new avenues for collaboration and growth within the hospitality sector. IndusFood 2026 thus stood as a credible indicator of India’s expanding global influence.
