NICASA OF CHANDIGARH BRANCH OF NIRC OF ICAI CELEBRATED THEIR CULTURAL FEST ON SUNDAY, JANUARY 7, 2024: A report by Khatibah Rehmat.

Under the supervision of their Chairman CA Rachit Goyal of NICASA of Chandigarh Branch of NIRC of ICAI (A Chartered Accountant Institute) celebrated their annual cultural fest on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at the SD College, Chandigarh auditorium. It was seen that more than 500 students around Chandigarh, Punjab and Haryana participated in the event. CA students gave their best performances on stage and grabbed the attention of the audience present over there. Not just this, sixteen students enrolled their names for the Student of the Year award where three were supposed to be honoured with this prestigious one. The first prize was a cash of ₹11,000/- whereas, a bicycle was for the second and a musical system for the third awardee.

Though the event was a team work but CA Rachit Goyal was a big support for the students and staff of the CA college. One by one he honoured the guests on stage, he was kind enough to honour two senior media persons as well. One was Dr. H.K. Kharbanda and another one was Mrs. Khatibah Rehmat Senior Journalist and Writer of REFT Today. On the same day, NICASA of the Chandigarh Branch of NIRC of ICAI launched a free learning application where CA aspirants or students can educate themselves through mentoring and training by experts from North India. The 9 to 5 one-day college culture fest came to an end successfully.
