THE NATURIK CO. IN MOHALI IS A STARTUP COMPANY BY MR. SAHIL VOHRA AND HIS HR PROFESSIONAL WIFE: A REPORT BY KHATIBAH REHMAT.
Being a journalist is always an amazing experience because we meet people of different thoughts everytime. So the same thing happened meeting with Mr. Sahil Vohra in Chitkara international School, Chandigarh while there Lit fest. When we were dining then Ms. Anuradha Gupta introduced both of us in the dining area of the guests. Where he was telling about his start-up named Naturik where he manufactures the whole gram products like Ragi Chila, Moong Dal Cheela, Ragi Laddu’s etc. believe me the products which he sent me to taste was really awesome and the ragi laddu’s were very fresh and it was a loved by both of my daughters. Before knowing more about Naturik, let’s know about Mr. Sahil Vohra first and then proceed.
Well, Mr. Sahil Vohra is a startup businessman who is based in Mohali but, belongs to Bhatinda in Punjab. He did his graduation from his hometown only. Whereas, did his MBA from a college in New Delhi. Before starting this business he was working in companies like FMCG and retail. He also work in giant companies like Walmart, Britannia and ITC for over 16+ years. Not just this he was assigned as the National sales head in ITC limited, this was his last corporate assignment before doing his startup. Speaking about his family he has an intellectual wife who is a partner concern with him in this business startup-Naturik and have two beautiful daughters one is 11 years old and another one is 4 years. Mr. Sahil Vohra’s parents were the Educationists.
Asking Mr. Sahil Vohra about how this idea of The Naturik Co. came into his mind so very simply he answered that he has built scale brands for big companies like ITC and Britannia but, he always wanted to do something more meaningful and was waiting for the right time to take a plunge so he did as well. The idea of Naturik came into his mind by seeing India’s young adults working population facing the biggest health crunch of all times. While lifestyle disorders are hitting at a fast pace (80% Indians are protein deficient, 98 million Indians are diabetics and many more), unfortunately, they’re always short on time to fix it. THE NATURIK CO, with its innovative products is solving these key problems and disrupting the huge breakfast market. High protein, instant and super tasty breakfast solutions has developed with Chefs and food technologists.
